DESCRIPTION:Many gay men learn early on that being accepted often means bei
 ng agreeable\, likable\, and easy to be around.\n\nOver time\, this can tu
 rn into people-pleasing—prioritizing others’ needs\, emotions\, and ap
 proval while slowly disconnecting from your own truth. You might find your
 self over-giving\, avoiding conflict\, or shaping yourself to fit what you
  think others want… only to feel unseen\, resentful\, or exhausted under
 neath it all.\n\nIn this connection circle\, we’ll explore the roots of 
 people-pleasing and how it shows up in your relationships today.\n\nTogeth
 er\, we’ll begin rebuilding a deeper connection to your needs\, your voi
 ce\, and your boundaries\, so you can experience connection that doesn’t
  require you to lose yourself.\n\nThis is about learning how to stay with 
 yourself while being with others.\nOverview\nGay Men’s Brotherhood Conne
 ction Circles are for gay men wanting a safe place to converse and share p
 ersonal experiences. Connect directly with other members of the community 
 in a small\, intimate virtual setting.\n\nThe Connection Circles will fost
 er conversation\, collaboration and support from your fellow brothers. O
 ur intention for this offering is to create a safe space where we can get 
 to know one another more intimately and alleviate the loneliness and disco
 nnection we see so much in ourselves and our community.\n\nHere's how the 
 connection circles will work:\n\nWe will gather in one large group and the
  facilitator will review ground rules and offer a topic with some discussi
 on questions. We will then break off into small pods of 3 where you can sh
 are personal experiences\, insights\, ask questions\, or provide support t
 o others - just like we do on the Gay Men Going Deeper podcast!\n\nThis i
 s perfect for those of you who are too shy to speak up in the large groups
  during our sharing circles. Smaller groups allow for people to take the t
 ime to get to know one another where friendships can form. This is also a 
 great opportunity to connect with people that you might not otherwise con
 nect with because the pods will be assigned randomly.\n\nUnlike our Shari
 ng Circles\, there is an expectation to share at this event in the small p
